Mikkeller K:rlek from Denmark Mikkeller's K:rlek Pale Ale from Denmark has to be singled out by batch or by number.   It's citrusy. Some claim it's brewed with pineapples, others passion fruit. Mikkeller ain't saying on the bottle.  The problem? It's a one-off brew.

Mikkeller's K:rlek Pale Ale from Denmark has to be singled out by batch or by number.  There are Spring/Summer versions and also Autumn/Winter, and the recipe changes with each batch.  The K:rlek 6, brewed for Autumn/Winter 2014

It's citrusy.  Some claim it's brewed with pineapples, others passion fruit. Mikkeller ain't saying on the bottle. To keep the descriptions brief, I found it to be a lemony American Pale Ale, with a taste that just continued to grow on me with each sip.

The problem?  It's a one-off brew, like many of Mikkeller's products.  Six months from now if I'm craving one of these, it won't exist.  I'll have to get the summer version or next year's winter version.

Worth a try but don't get too attached.
