Mikkeller Tiger Baby
Posted: 6 May 2015  Beer Republic 7.0
Mikkeller Tiger Baby from Denmark With Tiger Baby, Mikkeller kept it simple indeed.  A Pale Ale brewed with passion fruit juice.  It's fragrant, it's refreshing, and not overly powerful in the alcohol department, and I can tell you, baby, it tastes a helluva better than any Tiger.
Avg price/liter: USD 21.18   ABV %: 5.0  Type: Pale Ale

Mikkeller's Tiger Baby is what Mikkeller does best.    They take an established style, here pale ale, and put a little twist on it.  Sometimes these twists are downright mediocre, like their Dim Sum and Kiin Kiin.

With Tiger Baby, Mikkeller kept it simple indeed.  A Pale Ale brewed with passion fruit juice.

It wasn't overly sweet or overly citrusy, and you couldn't even be 100% sure it was passion fruit you were drinking without looking at the label.  (Passion fruit in Danish is remarkably similar to passion fruit in English).

It's fragrant, it's refreshing, and not overly powerful in the alcohol department, and I can tell you, baby, it tastes a helluva better than any Tiger.
