Casino Milk Chocolate

Casino Milk Chocolate from France Casino's Milk Chocolate, with 32% cocoa solids, really does hold its own. In some ways in writing this review, I feel like a Big Pharma company publishing the results of "scientific studies" that were determined even before the studies began, given that I'd sampled the milk chocolate before.

I studied French over three decades ago and for just three years, yet even today, I can still understand most of what I read on a Casino chocolate label.  Not that my French education was any good.  I've probably learnt more French reading French chocolate bars than I did in class those many years ago.

The French word 'lait' is milk, and it's been late in the game for me to finally get around to trying Casino's solo milk chocolate offering.  I tried Casino's milk chocolate before, with bits of caramel, about a year-and-a-half ago. and I graded the milk chocolate pretty satisfactory back then, able to stand on its own without hiding behind the caramel filling.

What can I say to add to that?  Casino's Milk Chocolate, with 32% cocoa solids, really does hold its own.  In some ways in writing this review, I feel like a Big Pharma company publishing the results of "scientific studies" that were determined well before the studies began.   All right, tasting this bar isn't the same as a bogus-legitimate Big Pharma studies, but the outcome, like those Big Pharma farces, was already predetermined, given that I'd sampled the milk chocolate before.

Were these Casino bars available in more places than just Big C grocery stores, I'd be telling the young ones addicted to milk consumption to get their dairy from these.

If you liked reading this, consider savoring these reviews:
Carrefour Extra Dark from Germany -- 72% cocoa solids
Lindt Mousse au Chocolat from Switzerland -- 36% cocoa solids
